Obituary of Gerald Lee Barrie

Gerald L Barrie (85) of Pensacola, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 7, 2023. Gerald
was born on Thursday July 7, to Edward and Marie Barrie in Kankakee, Illinois. After graduating high
school, Gerald joined the United States Navy, where he loyally served as an Airman and Aviation
Electrician for 30 years. His last 43 years were spent in Pensacola, Florida; he attended Pensacola Junior
College, and was acting president of the Washington Redskins Bowling Team and Cordova Lanes.

Gerald will join in Heaven his parents, Edward and Marie.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Dolores Barrie; daughters, Maryanne Robin Brundige, Desiree
Sparkman, and Crystal Berkley; sons, Michael Barrie, and Chip Cline; niece, Brittany Patterson; as well as
a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held in Gerald’s honor on Friday January 19 2023 at Family Funeral and
Cremation, 5627 N Davis Hwy, Pensacola, FL. 32503. Visitation will begin at 3:00pm followed by a
memorial service at 4:00pm.
