Obituary of Louis Lisle Larson

Louis Lisle Larson, age 68, of Enterprise, Alabama former resident of Titusville, Florida, passed surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday 7^th of February 2024. Louis was born to the late Louis Laverne Larson and Addie May (Robbins) Larson in Flint, Michigan on 28 of August 1955. Louis was a music lover. He played the drums in his high school marching band, jammed with Grand Funk Railroad while were classmates. Later for a number of years he played drums for ‘The Chapel Echoes’ and his local church. An avid racing fan, Louis was a 4-time Y-80 Hydro National Champion for The American Outboard Federation. He also enjoyed car races. He was a lifelong fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Louis retired from Delta Airlines and loved to travel. After moving to Alabama, Louis enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

 He is survived by his two children: daughter, Samantha Larson of Lehi, Utah and his son, Daniel Larson of Enterprise, Alabama. His sister Josephine (Jodi) Larson of Enterprise, Alabama. Two grandchildren: Cassidy (David) Mason of Enterprise, Alabama and Landon Larson of Enterprise, Alabama. Three great-grandchildren: Aspen Jewelle Grille, Payzlee Gracelynn Grille, and Keith Daniel Grille all of Enterprise, Alabama. Two Nephews: John Ballinger of Burton, Michigan and Kenny (AnnMarie) Ballinger of Flint, Michigan. 5 great-nephews and 1 great-niece all of Michigan. Special Friend: Brian Lytle of Lehi, Utah. As well as a host of cousins, all the beloved friends he met in the course of his travels, and by his beloved dog TayTay.

He was preceded in death by his Parents: Louis Laverne Larson and Addie May (Robbins) Parker, Sister and Brother-in-Law: Christine and Jim Ballinger. Nephew: Spencer Ballinger

Memorial Services will be held at a later time as determined by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your nearest No-Kill Animal Shelter in Louis’ name.
