Obituary of Scott Alan Tennimon

Scott Alan Tennimon, age 61 of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on February 15, 2024. He was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Charles Tennimon Jr. and Carleen Gash Tennimon. He was a resident of Pensacola since 1980 and graduated from Washington High School.

Scott was a long-time employee in sales for Motion Industries and prior to that he worked at US Air. He had an outstanding work ethic, but when he wasn’t working, he enjoyed family reunions and spending quality time with his family and friends. In his school days he loved to play sports and was a lifetime fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, especially Alabama football.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Carleen Tennimon and his brothers, Stuart Tennimon and Steven Tennimon.

He is survived by his sister, Stacey Taube (Carl); his half-sister, Teresa Beck (Ken); three nieces, Hannah Jordan (Will), Abigail Tumlin (Jackson), and Kimberlie Jean-Marie Tennimon; three nephews, Benjamin Taube (Kimmy), Matthew Taube, and Carl Waid Tennimon; and numerous great-nieces and nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Scott had a big heart and always had a way of bringing a smile to many no matter how young or old. We will miss all his Roll Tide Rolls, but we find comfort in knowing that Scott placed his trust in Christ for salvation.

A visitation will be held at Family-Funeral & Cremation on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 1:00PM-2:00PM with a memorial service beginning at 2:00PM.
