Obituary of Esther Horn Kerns

Esther Earlien Kerns (Horn) passed away on March 16, 2024, in Pensacola, Florida, at the age of 66. She was born on February 28, 1958, in Putnam County, Florida. Esther was a beloved mother, wife, stepmother, and grandmother who touched the lives of many.

Esther was a remarkable woman known for her passion for jewelry making, baking, cooking, and caring for her family. Her kind and loving heart endeared her to all who knew her. On weekends, she could often be found at thrift stores or the flea market, selling the jewelry she had lovingly crafted.

She is survived by her children Larry Dewayne (Charlotte), Sherry (Carlos), William (Samuel), Jennifer (Timothy), April (Adam), Mitchell (Bonnie), and Christina (Chris), as well as 12 grandchildren. Esther was preceded in death by her husband, William Kerns, as well as her mother, father, sister, and brother.

A celebration of life will be announced by the family, where everyone is invited to share memories, reminisce, and honor Esther's life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to A Place of Hope reacue, a cause that was dear to her heart.
