Obituary of Robert Daniel Ramsey

Robert Daniel Ramsey, age 69, of Navarre, Florida passed away on March 30, 2024. He was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada on April 12, 1954. He and his family moved to the United States when he was thirteen years old.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila; daughter, Megan Hu; son-in-law, Shu Hu; and two grandchildren. His granddaughter, Lavada Jade Hu, age 8 and grandson, Ming Hua Hu, aka Daniel Iven, age 18 months.

He was preceded in death by his brothers David and Jonathan Buckland and sister Laura Buckland.

Dan, as he was known to his family and friends, died just thirteen days before his 70th birthday.  Dan had said that he wanted to have a big birthday party to celebrate this milestone birthday, so that is just what we did.  We kept our promise, and we will celebrate you and miss you for eternity. “Catcha on the flip side”.
