Obituary of Wayne Kercher

Harold Wayne Kercher, 77, of Pensacola, FL went home to be with our Lord and Savior on April 7th, 2024. Wayne was born on October 27th, 1946 in Pensacola, FL to Thomas and Jessie Kercher. 

 

Wayne served his country for 17 years as a member of the army National Guard. With a servants heart, heart continue to serve his community as a firefighter and a board member of the Beulah Fire and Rescue “Big Dawgs“. As a pillar of the Beulah community, many relied on him as a honest and dependable mechanic. Wayne held a special place in his heart for all animals, especially his beloved horse, Ginger.

 

Wayne is proceeded in death by his parents and his brother. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Mary Kay Kercher, his sons Ken (Melissa) Kercher, of Pensacola, FL and Bill (Mary) Kercher of Suwanee, GA. He is also survived by three grandchildren Roni Kercher, Graham (Kailey) Kercher and Brock Kercher, who were the light of his life. 

 

A celebration of life service will be held June 1, 2024 at 11 AM. With visitation immediately preceding at 10 AM.  at Windy Hill Baptist Church, 9896 Rebel Rd., Pensacola, FL with Bro. Ricky Skaggs officiating.
