Obituary of Barbara White Ellis

Barbara White Ellis passed away on Wednesday, August 7, at the age of 88.

Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas Ellis, her brothers George Franklin, Howard Franklin, and Ralph Franklin, sister Lois Nelson Johnson, and nephew Dennis Franklin. She is survived by her sister Mary Evans, her beloved nieces and nephew Debra Henderson, Denise Williams, Donna Evans, Marsha Corner, and David Franklin, and many great nieces and nephews.

Barbara was a longtime member of Lakeview Baptist Church of Pensacola where she served as church clerk and taught a ladies Sunday School class. She loved to sing and sang in her church choir most of her life. Barbara also worked as a teacher's assistant at Semmes and Dixon elementary schools.

A private service will be held at a later date.
