Obituary of Garryn George Young

Garryn George Young, age 33, of Shalimar, Florida was called home on August 9, 2024 in a single car accident.

Garryn was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida to Gary Young and Penny Kelly on February 4, 1991.  He graduated from Choctaw High School in 2010 and attended OWJC.  He played Little League Baseball and excelled in Karate at TLC for several years.  He was a member of ROTC for his high school years.  Garryn loved the water in Destin and enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and played Sequence with his grandparents.  He also loved his friends and co-workers at Boshamps in Destin.  He was making plans for the future with his girlfriend Kasey.

Garryn is survived by his grandparents, Faye Loosier and Robert Pornovets; aunts and uncles, Dawn Kelly Rogue, Malachi Kelly, Angela Ripple, Jacki Kovarik, Allan and Sharon, Jennifer Loosier, George Bauerschmidt, Susan Boltersdorf; many cousins, including Corey and Kristyn Kovarik.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Penny Young; grandparents, Kay Young, Ira Loosier, Mal Kelly, George and Marie Bauerschmidt; uncles, Otto Rogue and Bob Kovarik.
