Obituary of Darren Edward Coleman
Darren Edward Coleman, 55, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024.
Darren was born on Saturday, October 26, 1968, to Linnis E. and Annie M. “Bobbie” Coleman. Darren was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida and was the “newest addition” in the Coleman family. He grew up in his parents’ home with his Grandmother, Cora Lee Jordan; his seven sisters, Jeannie, Cindi D., Sherry, Wendy, Denise, Cindy Lynn, and Debbie Kay and his two brothers, Lennie and Stevie.
Darren is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Franklin E., and Leila L. Coleman; maternal grandparents, David B., and Cora L. Jordan; Sister, Jeannie; Brothers, Stevie and Lennie and his Nephew, Daniel Howard, III.
As a boy, Darren loved being outdoors climbing trees, building forts, playing in mud holes, riding bikes, go-karts and mini-bikes and doing all the fun things boys liked to do. He had many adventures in his life as he was the BIGGEST daredevil. As Darren grew older, he found a love for watersports such as skiing, boating and especially deep-sea fishing.
Under the apprenticeship of Lloyd Waldrop, Darren quickly mastered the trade of tile setting and became one of Northwest Florida’s most accomplished tile setters and business owners. Although he enjoyed success in his trade, Darren always felt his greatest accomplishment was becoming a father to his only son, Tyler Edward Coleman.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 12:00pm until 4:00pm at Spanish Cove Club House, 2078 Clubhouse Drive, Lillian, Alabama 36549.
