Obituary of Bradley Grimland Wendt
Bradley Grimland Wendt, age 50, of Niceville, Florida passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024.
Brad was a proud graduate of Choctawhatchee High School. His life was characterized by his deep love for his family, especially his three sons, Zachary, Carter, and Griffin, who were his greatest pride. Brad was also a beloved son to Ret. Col. Douglas Wendt and JoAnn Grimland Wendt, and a cherished brother to Gregory Wendt. While preceded in death by his Grandparents Julian Grimland, Anna Grimland, Ida Wendt, Monroe Wendt, and his uncle, John Wendt.
An avid sports enthusiast, Brad's loyalty was divided among the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Red Wings, and the Florida State Seminoles. His weekends were often spent either hunting or ensuring his yard was in pristine condition, showcasing his meticulous nature. His organized garage was a testament to his methodical approach to life, reflecting the discipline he likely inherited from his military father.
Brad was a figure of strength and camaraderie in his community and among his friends. His life and legacy will be celebrated at a Celebration of Life, to be planned at a later date, where family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched can come together to honor his memory.
Brad leaves behind a legacy of love, discipline, and passion, survived by his sons, parents, and brother, who will continue to honor his memory by living out the values he cherished.
