Obituary of Jeffery Lynn Barron, Sr

Jeffery “Jeff” Lynn Barron, Sr., 73, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on September 12, 2024.

Jeff was born to Milford “Red” Barron and Vivian Perkins Barron on February 7, 1951 in Freeport, Texas. He attended Brazosport High School in Freeport, Texas, and later Columbus College in Columbus, Georgia. Jeff went on to receive his Master’s Degree in Criminology, which led him to become a probation officer with the state of Georgia. He was a dedicated Army veteran, who spent time in Vietnam, as well as serving an extended tour in Germany.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father Milford “Red” Barron, mother Vivian Barron, and twin sister Dianne Blanchard.

He is survived by his son Jay Barron (Aki); daughter Shelly Pinson (Chris); sister Leah Hardesty (Logan); grandson Brett Barron (Shelby); granddaughter Alexis Barron; as well as 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Jeff was loved by many and will be deeply missed. He was the BEST father his two children could have ever asked for, and his memory will go on in the hearts of all who knew him.
