Obituary of James Henry Wells

James Henry Wells, 72, fell asleep in death on September 22, 2024, in Pensacola, Florida with his family by his side. Born on April 1, 1952, James, affectionately known by many as "Julio," was full of joy and humor, always ready with a smile and a joke. His loyalty and willingness to help others were unmatched, earning him the nickname "the MacGyver of the family" for his ability to fix just about anything.

James was a skilled plumber, dedicated to his craft throughout his career, showcasing his strong work ethic. Beyond his professional life, he had a profound passion for salsa music, often found dancing and enjoying time with his friends and family. His love for his family was immense, especially for his grandchildren, who brought him great joy.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years, Juana; children, JoAn Babula (Mark), Heidy Sturm, James Daniel Wells, and James Henry Wells Jr. (Lindsey). His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Donald III, Hayden, Andrew, LilyAna, Everett, and Parker; sister, Valeri Dalton (Michael); brother, Curtis D. Wells (Denise); nieces, Celeste Perry (Daniel), Anastasia Viynos (Nick), Jessica Dalton, Megan Wells, Kylie Wells, Samantha Wells, and numerous great-nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Carmen Wells.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 6:00PM to celebrate James's life and legacy. His warm spirit and enduring kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
