Obituary of Mary Lynn Barone

Mary Lynn Barone passed on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at age 66, after a long battle of health issues.

Mary was born on March 15, 1958 in New Orleans, LA., to David Allen McDonald Sr. and June Rose (Levet) McDonald.

Mary met the love of her life and beloved husband, David John Barone Sr. in New Orleans, LA., at age 17, and they were happily  married until his death on August 9, 2021. 

Mary was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support for her family. 

Preceded in death by her parents, David A. McDonald Sr. and June R. (Levet), her husband, David J. Barone Sr., stepdaughter, Della (Barone) Cangelosi , sister-in-law, Lynda, wife of Daniel McDonald. 

Survived by her stepson, David J. Barone Jr. and Nicole Barone; siblings, David A. McDonald Jr., Sharon Ford, Sandra Clark, Daniel and Michael McDonald, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
