Obituary of Geary Jerome Lynch III

Geary Jerome Lynch III passed away on December 23rd, 2024, in his neighborhood in Pensacola, Florida. He was born on a Thursday, April 6, 2006, to Sheena Smith and Geary Lynch II in Broward General Hospital. 

Geary was a happy baby, as his mother’s only living son, he grew to be a momma’s boy. Geary loved sports, he actively played basketball and football. Geary assisted his freshman basketball team in winning a championship in his first year of high school. He also played for Woodland Heights Thunder basketball team, assisting in winning a championship as well. He was a collector of shoes, always in the latest style (his favorite brand was Chrome Heart and Nike.)

 He spent countless hours playing video games with his friends but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. 

Geary was an A/B honor roll Senior at Pine Forest High School. He had a bright future ahead of him filled with dreams of joining the army following in his grandfather’s (Carl McCall) footsteps. Geary was very ambitious and aspired to be a real-estate agent. He had the potential to make a lasting impact on the world. Above all, he was a dedicated father to his son, Kysen and was devoted to providing him with a good life. His greatest joy was seeing his son smile. He worked tirelessly to be the loving and supportive father Kysen deserved. 

Geary’s infectious smile and enthusiastic spirit brought joy to everyone he encountered. He was known for his kind heart, sense of humor, and deep loyalty to the ones he loved. 

His life was tragically cut short due to violence which shattered the lives of his loved ones. 

Though Geary is no longer here with us, his Legacy will forever live on in his son, Kysen Samaj, and in the hearts of his loved ones.  

Geary was preceded in death by Stewart Mcvey-Smith (grandfather), Dahjaie ShoeCraft (brother), Geary Jerome Turner (grandfather), Sheree Lynch (aunt), Nasiah Lynch (sister), Mary and Carl McCall (great-grandparents). 

He is survived by his parents, Sheena Smith and Hilton Shepard; father, Geary Lynch Jr.; children, Kysen Samaj Albritton; siblings, Yai’nai, Shydirah, Quadirah, Nadir, Jahcierah, Kahleel, Kahsir, Vanessa, Victoria, Yuna and Amir-Elliot; grandmothers, Rochelle Perkins-McCall and Vanessa Lynch; an abundance of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
