Kariana Chandler

Obituary of Kariana Jade Chandler

Kariana Jade Chandler made her entry into our lives May 10, 2007 and was freed from her earthly bonds and ascended to Glory on January 6, 2025. Her brief seventeen-year stay in our presence was marked by the radiance of her glow that would fill with brilliance even the darkest room and by a heart so overflowing with love that it encompassed everyone she touched. None can recall ever seeing Kari with less than a very positive attitude. Her delight in life and in her family and in her friends danced in her eyes and in her always happy countenance.

Kari was a Junior at Tate High School in Pensacola where she was known by her classmates and friends to be “sweet” and “kind” and “generous” and “caring” and “very loving.” They referred to Kari as “such a positive influence” and a “beautiful person inside and out.” The mother of a sophomore whom Kari befriended specifically requested that she be remembered as smart, sweet and a bright light who set an example for her daughter and provided her guidance for navigating through high school. Kari was the best Aunt, and her nephew Kash was her pride and joy. Her fellow employees noted that she loved her job and loved to work and strove mightily to set the standard and that she would readily respond to the call if needed regardless of the time. Such was considered typical of Kariana as she embraced every undertaking with zeal and excitement. Kariana had a truly giving nature and enjoyed bringing food and blankets to the homeless.

Kari loved to memorialize her friends on film and left countless creative and much heralded photographs of them in various sports and school activities. She was classified as a “gifted student” who sought out challenge and aspired to a higher level of learning and she thrilled at the opportunity to be of assistance to her fellow students. Kari was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and of the Debate Club in which she vigorously argued her favorite subjects of the death penalty, gun violence and the school dress code.

Kariana Jade Chandler was a beloved treasure who accomplished much during her youthful life. Those who knew her and loved her and respected her and whose lives were bettered by her believe that her presence has made Heaven brighter today.

Kariana is survived by her Parents Nicholas Anthony Chandler and Kristen Nowlin Chandler; Sister Laken Chandler; Nephew Kash Hightower; Grand Parents Norma Parker and Randy Parker; Grandfather Roy Chandler (Delilah); Grandmother Amy Carole Suggs; Grandfather Bill Robichaud (Lori); Uncle Billy Robichaud (Christy); and Great Grandparents Emory and Carolyn Brown.
