Obituary of Geoffrey Wayne Garrett

Geoffrey Wayne Garrett, 37, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021. Geoffrey was born on February 17, 1984 in Pensacola, FL. to Britt Garrett and Sandra Floyd.

Geoffrey graduated with the class of 2002 at Choctawhatchee High School. Geoffrey was a trim carpenter by trade, but was always actively helping friends and family with any project or repair. Geoffrey's favorite activities were fishing, golfing, skateboarding, and thinking of bad jokes to make you laugh or at least sigh.

Geoffrey was beloved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Geoffrey is survived by his father Britt Garrett, sister Andrea West, nieces Samantha and Lindsey West, Step-father Mark Burt, step-brother Douglas Burt, step-sister Valarie (Jamie) Smothers, and nephew Colton Smothers. Geoffrey is proceded in death by his mother Sandra Burt. A memorial will be held at Covenant Community Church at 1007 Gospel Road, Fort Walton Beach, Florida 32547, from 11:00 - 12:00.
