Obituary of Mary Thomas Overstreet

Mary Dale Overstreet, 89, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 12, 2023 at West Florida Hospital. Mary was born in Mobile, Alabama, March 14 1933. Mary will join in Heaven her loving husband; Jesse Eugene Overstreet, father, Herman T Thomas; Mother, Lodusky Thomas (Moma Duck); beloved son, Otis W. Smith; and 2 brothers. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children; Danny Overstreet (Paula), Sheila Waydick, Gary Overstreet, Diane Taylor (Jack), Mike OverStreet; 14 grandchildren, and 26 greatgrandchildren. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, who would do anything for her family and friends. She was a lover of the word of the Lord and her church Grace Point Church of God. Her legacy will live on in her children, grandchildren, and in the many lives she touched in her time here on Earth. A Memorial Service will be held in Mary’s honor at Grace Point Church of God on Saturday March 11, 2023 at 11 am.
