Obituary of ilda avila
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ilda Avila, who died on February 15th, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. Ilda was born on December 6th, 1970, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to her parents Esteban Avila and Maria Antonia Orsonio.
Throughout her life, Ilda faced many challenges, but she never lost faith in God. Even after surviving three major surgeries and discovering that she had cancer, Ilda felt that God had given her a second chance, and she rededicated her life to Jesus. She prayed and believed that His will would be done in her life.
Ilda is survived by her children, Victoria Iraheta, Leonardo Dominguez, David Dominguez, Melisa Dominguez, Armando Dominguez, and Alex Porto. She is also survived by her siblings, José Manuel Rósales , Elva Hirsch, Esmeralda Orsonio, Dalia Ávila, Alejandra Perales, Leticia Ávila , Irene Ávila, Magdalena Scola. She is preceded by death of her parents and brothers, Esteban Avila, María Antonia Orsonio, Martín Ávila, Rosalio Antonio Ávila, Roberto Orsonio.
Ilda will always be remembered for her kindness and compassion. She was a dreamer who worked hard all her life. She was also the light of the party wherever she went. She had a heart for those in need and was always willing to lend a helping hand to them. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Although we grieve the loss of our beloved Ilda, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior. As it is written in John 11:25-26, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.” Ilda will be greatly missed, but her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Rest in peace, Ilda Avila.
