Obituary of kerry lynn lamonde

Kerry Lynn LaMonde (Ewing), 62, died peacefully in her home on December 17th, 2022. Her loss was completely unexpected and her family is deeply saddened. She was born on June 23rd, 1960 in Atlanta, Georgia to Marvin Ewing and Jacqueline Griswell (Evans). Kerry grew up in College Park and graduated from MD Collins High School where her passions were the drill team and her high school sweetheart, Craig LaMonde. After high school, Kerry and Craig married in 1983 and moved to Fort Walton Beach, Florida to work for the family business at National Elevator Company. In 1986, they had their first daughter, Jacqueline Rosen (LaMonde) and Lauren Tucker (LaMonde) followed in 1990. Kerry was a light in this world. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as a Gigi. You could always find her surrounded by her family, it was her happy place. Her comforting presence and kind spirit was something you could always feel when she walked into a room. The wisdom and influence she imparted will live on for generations to come. Kerry is survived by her mother, Jacqueline Griswell; stepmother, Brenda Ewing; daughters, Jacqueline Rosen (Joseph Rosen) and Lauren Tucker (Brent Tucker); grandchildren, Joseph (Tripp) Rosen III, Judah Tucker, Finnegan Rosen and Ellington Rosen; brother Scott Ewing (Wendy Ewing) and sisters Candice Ewing, Carla Courtney (Graham Courtney) and Robin Hutto (Alan Hutto) and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her ex- husband Craig LaMonde; father Marvin Ewing; stepfather Robert Griswell, and her stepbrother Daniel Griswell.
