Obituary of john patrick finnerty

John Patrick Finnerty entered into rest July 9th, 2022 in Fort Walton Beach, FL. He was born in San Antonio, TX on June 19th, 1955 to John and Patricia (nee Friend) Finnerty. John graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1982. He also served in the U.S. Navy. While also being a conscientious employee to the state of Florida at the time of his passing. He is survived by his son, Jonathan Finnerty; two grandchildren, Jase and Jaxson Finnerty; brother, Michael Finnerty of Arlington, TX; and nephews, James, Jason, Christopher, Nicholas and Matthew. Friends are invited to attend a visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., July 25th, 2022 at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 101 Mary Esther Boulevard, Mary Esther, Florida. His Memorial Service and burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on July 30th, 2022 in Haughton, LA followed by internment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at HCA Florida Fort Walton -Destin Hospital, for their diligence and hard work in caring for John.
