Obituary of jonathan d. hess

Jonathan D. Hess, 41, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida passed away in his sleep, Friday, June 24th, 2022. He was born in Homestead, Florida February 18, 1981 to Dean and Deborah Hess. Jon worked as a grounds member for Adam's Tree Care and continued working there after the company merged with Kodiak Tree Service. He was married to Joann Hess until 2021, though they remained close friends until he took his final breath with her by his side. Jon was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah; and grandfathers, Bernie Hess and Lee Snyder. Jon is survived by his father, Dean Hess; brother, Phillip Hess; grandmothers, Betty Snyder and Barbara Hess; ex-wife and special friend, Joann Hess; several grandchildren by marriage, including his "little Gremlin"; and several other family members. No services will be held per Jon's request. The family would like to send a special thank you to Covenant Hospice, Family-Funeral & Cremation, and especially to Adam Machalk and his crew at Kodiak Tree Service for all of their love, support and assistance during these times.
