Obituary of shari ann wiginton
Shari Ann (Bryan) Wiginton, 63, of Shalimar, Florida peacefully slipped away on June 23, 2022 after a long illness with her sister by her side.
Shari was born the 3rd of 3 girls on August 28, 1958 in Redbank, NJ to Rosalie A and Marion (Earl) Bryan, both deceased. Her sister, Debra L. Green of Gulf Shores, FL died in November of 2021. As a child Shari moved frequently. After living in Rome, NY she moved to Evansville, IN, Chatsworth, CA and Warner Robins, GA before moving to Shalimar, FL in 1971. She went to Meigs Middle School and graduated from Choctaw High School in 1976.
After marrying Ron Wiginton, Shari moved to Tallahassee, FL then to Lombard, IL where she worked as a paralegal in a large legal firm in Chicago. After her divorce she returned to her home of Shalimar. There she spent many years with her dear friend Ross Greybill at her side. She worked for various legal firms as a paralegal. She was published in WordPerfect magazine in June, 1992 for developing a computer macro for offices labeling systems.
Shari is survived by her two children, Ashley Michelle and Casey James Wiginton of FL and IL respectively; sister, Karen (Bryan) Hortman of Macon, GA; many nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews.
She treasured her friendships with her alumni and dear friend, Claudia Kieszek and spent time with them often. She will be greatly missed.
Shari requested a private family burial.
