Obituary of wilbert george trautvetter

Wilbert George Trautvetter, 84, passed away at Covenant Care Inpatient Center at Sacred Heart Hospital, Monday, June 20, 2022, with his wife Mei Chung Trautvetter by his side, after a long battle with Parkinson's. Bill was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 22, 1938 to Charles and Catherine (Kider) Trautvetter. He served in the Air Force for 28 years and another 13 years in the Civil Service. While serving in the Air Force in Taiwan, he met the love of his life, Mei. They were married in 1975 and spent 46 1/2 years happily married. Bill leaves behind his loving wife, Mei; daughter, Kim; grandsons, Michael and Dallon; and great-grandson, Rylan. Bill was a wonderful man. His family was lucky to have him and he will always be remembered by those he leaves behind. A Private Internment with honors will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery. A Church Memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bill's memory to a charity of one's choice.
