Obituary of barbara ann goble

Barbara Ann Goble of Fort Walton Beach went to be with Jesus at the age of 68 on Thursday, June 9, 2022, with her loving husband Al Goble by her side. Barbara was born in Pensacola NAS, Florida to Howard and Peggy Setzer on September 24, 1953. After falling in love at first with each other, Barbara married the love of her life, Al Goble. They were married for almost 53 years. The had two adoring daughters, Carla and Marla. Then there grandson, Andy Scott came along and stole their heart. Barbara and Andy had a incredibly special relationship and bond that will never be broken. Barbara was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and mother-in-law. She will be missed every day, until we are able to be with her again in heaven. Though our hearts are broken here on earth we can find peace in knowing that she will suffer no more pain or sadness. She was an angel on earth, and now she is an angel in heaven doing God's work and watching over us all. Barbara always kept her promises. She promised her mom, Peggy she would finish high school and get her diploma, she kept that promise. After receiving her GED and completing a college level management and nutrition class, she became the Cafeteria Manager at Fort Walton Beach High School, where she retired after 20 years. With lover in her heart she made incredible food for the children every day. She loved the kids and they all loved Mrs. Barbara. No child went hungry under her watch, even if she had to buy their lunch herself. If she could have, she would have had a house full of children. Barbara had a special place in her heart for all children and children were always drawn to her. Barbara is survived by her husband, Al Goble; grandson, Andy Scott; daughter and son-in-law, Marla and Chuck Scott; sisters, Phyllis Kline and Linda Witzman; also her brother, Stephen Setzer. She is preceded in death by her beautiful daughter, Carla Goble, whom she is now holding tight; parents, Howard and Peggy Setzer; brothers, Jack Sheppard, Johnny Setzer, and Tony Setzer. A Burial/Celebration of Life will be held, Friday, June 17, 2022 at 10:00am, at Beal Memorial Cemetery, Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
