Obituary of benjamin f. parker

Benjamin F. "Ben" Parker Jr., 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 10, 2022. He was born on January 28, 1944 in Alexandria, VA to Benjamin F. Sr. and Doris M. Parker. Ben married Theresa Beck in 1969. They were married for 52.5 years until his death. Ben served in the US Air Force from 1962 to 1966. He graduated from Choctaw High School in 1962 and then from University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL with a BS in Management. In 1977 he moved with his wife to Houston, TX where he worked as a Safety Director until he retired in 2009. Ben's love was for helping people and animals especially for his pets; Sassy, Elvis, Prissy, Ringo, and Sam. He always had a heart to serve and he did it well. Ben enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, and visiting casinos. Cruising was his favorite vacation. He usually cruised three times a year to various destinations throughout the world. His favorite destination was Alaska. Ben is survived by his devoted wife, Theresa B. Parker as well as his sister, Carole Louise Olivas and her husband and other extended relatives. Donations to honor Ben may be made to a pet shelter of your choice. The family will gather for a graveside service at Beal Memorial Cemetery, Ft. Walton Beach, FL on July 13, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
