We met at Columbus Air Force Base in the early 1980s. A friendship that has spanned 40 years. At times when I needed a real friend you were there. You always remembered my birthdays. I will forever miss our chats and your loyalty.

I was his care giver for a few months prior, he hit it off instantly. both of us were initially from Jersey and from the same county. every time i went into work he said” where’s my hug sweetie” and every night i escorted him to his room we would share stories and hugs and goodnight. id always check on him every two hours to make sure he had everything he needed to be comfortable. It is hard to imagine him gone but i’ll never forget his smile!
