To Tommy Nix,
Writing this to honor my relationship with my father in-law and the loss in my life. I received many things over the years from my father in-law, his kindness, respect, and his sense of humor. He was hardworking, loving, and gentle. He loved his family and was deeply devoted to his wife and his daughters. He truly believed that if you worked hard, treated people right and with a little luck you could have a good life.
Dad was always working on a project using a precise process for the best outcome. He would never take shortcuts on any projects or his hobbies. Gardening was his passion and after moving from Cantonment to Milton and taking advantage of the open space - his garden was always plentiful. No matter what season was coming his response to us - What are we planting and let’s start tilling.
Thank you Tommy Nix (Dad) for giving me your blessing to marry your wonderful daughter who is a mirror image of you. We love and miss you.

Jan Simmons posted a condolence

My condolences to Linda and the family. My husband, T. P. Simmons, used to play golf with Tommy a lot. They both loved the game. And we both worked at Southern Bell (AT&T) the same time Tommy did and we both thought a awful lot of Tommy Nix. My deepest sympathy.
